Black, Ester, age 81, of Linden, formerly of Fenton, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at Brian's House, Davison. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Monday, September 25, 2006 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Rev. Dan Wallace officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Saturday and 3-8PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Contributions may be made to Fenton United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army. Mrs. Black was born in Denmark on October 17, 1924 to John and Emma Jorgensen. She came to America in 1929. She married David Black on March 2, 1947 in Fenton. Mrs. Black was employed by Poppy and Lauer (John Deere Dealer) for 14 years; Â by T.N. Eickorst, M.D. and J. Gibbons, M.D. for 12 years; by R. UyHam, M.D. H. Lopez, M.D. and R. Reddy, M.D. for 13 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Silver Spurs Square Dance Club and a former member of the American Association of Medical Assistants, and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Mabel, husband Dave and their 3 infant children, Susan, Martha and John; stepbrother, Ervin Anderson; stepsister, Doreen Loomis; niece, Rose Ann Merrill and grandniece, Heather McDougal. She is survived by her sister Ella (Murray) Bell of Milford; brother Robert (Eudella) Jorgensen of Holly; stepsisters, Pearl Crosby Smith of Fenton, Carol Haller of Linden; stepbrothers, Floyd and Harvey Anderson of Flint; half-sister, Linda (Roger) Buchholz of MN; half-brother John Jorgensenof MN; Also, many dearly loved nieces, nephews and friends.
