Eron Wade DISBERRY

DISBERRY, Eron Wade - age 38, of Flint, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 10 AM Monday, September 21, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held 12 PM Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery followed by a luncheon hosted by the VFW Chevrolet Post # 3087. Visitation will be held 12-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home where a VFW Memorial Service will be held 6:30 PM Sunday evening under the auspices of VFW Chevrolet Post # 3087. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The VFW National Home for Children. Eron was born December 1, 1970 in Virginia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Eron worked for the Genesee County Road Commission and was an active member of the VFW Chevrolet Post #3087 where he had served as Commander. He was currently serving as the District 10 Commander for the VFW. Surviving are: wife, Brandi; step-children, Michael and Lauren; dog, Hunter; father, Alex (Sandy) Disberry; step-father, Don (Kathy) Colwell; sister and brothers, Sheri Saunders(Disberry), Blaine, Mark, Kandice & Kasandra; nieces and nephews; Andrea, Sam, Bianca, Trena, Brittany, Tiffany, Tonya, Markie, Blair, Kelsi, Tommy, Rachel and Mitchell. In-laws Tim and Diane, Michelle, Chris and Dawn; special friends and family; Jason, Pat and Brad, Rose and Cal. His mother, Suzanne preceded him in death and "little brother" Brady.
