Ernest Grose

Grose, Ernest William - Age 88, of  Mt. Morris, died February 13, 2021. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,   6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Ernest was born May 31, 1932 in Kalkaska, MI, the son of Orville W. Grose and Anna E. (Case) Grose. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was in Tree Work all of his life, having worked for Michigan Shade, Davies and Aspen Tree Services. Ernest enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army in Traverse City. He loved fishing and visiting with family and friends. Surviving are: son Leland (Susan) Grose; stepchildren, Deb Clark and Gary Clark; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; brother Daniel (Peggy) Grose; sister Naomi Grose; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Margaret; wife Phyllis; son Ernest Grose Jr and Douglas Grose; daughters Susan Grose, Debbie Grose, and Norma Grose; siblings, Joe, Ivan, Roseanne, Tim and Esther; and step-son John Clark.
