Erika Johnson

JOHNSON, Erika Theresia -- Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died November 2, 2015. Per her wishes no public services were held. Arrangements under the direction of Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Erika was born September 5, 1935 in Neu-Ulm Germany the daughter of Igo and Elizabeth Baumeister (Strobel). She married Bryan G. Johnson August 14, 1953 in Germany; he preceded her in death August 16, 1996. Erika resided in Swartz Creek since 1964. She worked for Swartz Creek Schools in the cafeteria. She worked in Real Estate, and was employed by Sharp Funeral Homes for many years. Erika also enjoyed working for Avon. She attended Faith Missionary Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. Matthew (Jonie) Johnson of Flushing; 2 grandsons, Michael Alexander Johnson, Joshua Andrew (Michelle) Johnson; brother, Peter (Inge) Baumeister of Germany.
