Eric Duane Shifflet

SHIFFLET, Eric Duane, age 77, of Linden, passed away, June 15, 2024. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 PM Thursday. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Memorial Contributions in Eric's memory would be appreciated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or The Wounded Warrior Project.

Eric was born November 27, 1946 in Flint, the son of Carl R. and Marguerite (Routley) Shifflet. He graduated from Evart High School. Eric proudly served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Master Electrician for many years and retired from GM in 2008. Eric enjoyed hunting, golfing, and traveling on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and taking trips with his friends.

Eric is survived by his children, Michael Shifflet, Erica Shiflett, and Angela (Eric) Shifflet-Anspaugh; grandchildren, Tyler (McKenzy) Savoie, Ashlyn Savoie, Jadyn Shifflet; also survived by nieces and nephews.
