Emma Pierce

PIERCE, Emma Jean - Age 92, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Emma's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Mr. Chris Radcliffe officiating.  Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 AM Wednesday until the time of the service.

Emma was born June 16, 1930 in Fenton, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Daly) Hutchinson.  She was a 1948 graduate of Fenton High School.  She married Lloyd Ellis Pierce March 9, 1951 in Fenton and he preceded her in death in 1994.  She had resided in Fenton most of her life.  Emma enjoyed watching wildlife.  She was fearlessly independent and lived life in gratitude.

Surviving are: her children, Roxanne (Chris) Wypych of West Branch, Renee (Rob) McFarlane of Grand Rapids, and Randy (Autumn) Pierce of Fenton; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
