JOHNSON, Emma Jean  Age 75, of Gladwin, died Friday, April 7, 2006 at her daughters home in Fenton. Services will be held 5 PM Monday, April 10, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until the time of the service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice. Emma was born February 9, 1931 in Grubbs, AR, the daughter of Thad and Lois (Bost) Terry. She was married to Bernard Johnson on May 10, 1962. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are: husband Bernard; sons, Bruce (Cheryl) Johnson of Montrose, Larry (Penny) Wade of South Carolina; daughters, Anna (Gary) Orvis of Swartz Creek, Patty Whitlock of Owosso, Bonnie (Howard) VanderVliet of Colorado, Patricia Wade of Georgia, Dawn (Randy) Selves of Fenton; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Jean) Terry of Grand Blanc, Troy (Barbara) Terry of Flint; two sisters, Juanita Maxey of Grand Blanc, Vonciel Winemiller of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.
