Emily B. Carroll, age 92, of Fenton, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 10, 2023. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, 4PM-8PM at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Road in Grand Blanc. Visitation will resume the following day on Friday, April 14, 2023, starting at 11AM until the time of the service at 1PM at NewLife Community Lutheran Church, 7235 Torrey Road in Swartz Creek. Emily will be laid to rest with her late husband, Donald, at Crestwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emily's name to NewLife Community Lutheran Church. Emily was born on June 15, 1930, to the late Robert & Loretta Jackson in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated class of 1948 from Mandeville High School. She married Donald "Don" Carroll on February 19, 1955, in Flint, Michigan and together they were blessed with their five children. She was an active member to NewLife Community Lutheran Church, where she volunteered frequently and as a part of the Woohoo Ladies Group. Emily was also a member to the VFW Women's Auxiliary where she served as Vice President. She retired from General Nutrition Center where she worked for over twenty years as a manager. She kept herself and her children busy as a Stanley Home Delivery Sales Associate, she would have an assembly line in the house for her children to help her fulfill orders. She enjoyed hosting parties and making people feel happy and comfortable. She adored her dog and kitties and kept busy in her garden with her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Bruce) Gage, Patrick (Korine) and Laura Carroll; her grandchildren, Shawn (Andrea) Gage, Kelly (Leslie) Gage, Christine (Tom) Bur, Robert (Julie) Carroll and Joseph Carroll; several great-grandchildren; her triplet siblings, James Vestal, Jill Price and Beth Wright, who she loved and raised on her own children. Emily is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other dear family members and friends too numerous to list. In addition to her parents, Robert (Loretta) Jackson, she was preceded in death by her husband Don in 1990; two sons, Stephen Carroll and Mark Carroll and sisters, Jane Peters and Judy Vestal
