Emerson Kent Mitchell

MITCHELL, Emerson Kent -- Age 88, of Linden, formerly of Sebastian, FL, died November 23, 2009. A memorial service is to be held in 2010. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Mr. Mitchell was born December 8, 1920 in Iron River, MI, the son of Frederick and Matilda (Sono) Mitchell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII. He was a graduate of G.M.I. Mr. Mitchell retired from GM Parts in Grand Blanc in 1975, as the Director of Parts, with 34 years of service. Surviving are: children, Paul (Nancy) Mitchell of Linden, Susann (Rich) Wilson of Grand Marais; seven grandchidlren, Jay (Bridget) Gross, Kim McClamma, Janelle (Jesus) Ortiz, Jennifer (Adam) Lesperance, Sarah (Max) Dietrich, Ron Mitchell, Emily Mitchell; seven great-grandsons; sister, Jeanette Slaybaugh.
