Elsie Faye Moench

MOENCH, Elsie Faye  Age 95, of Bodcaw, AR, formerly of Hope, AR and Flint, died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at her residence. Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Paul Alger officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hurley Medical Center Burn Unit. Mrs. Moench was born September 14, 1907 in Genoa, NE, the daughter of John David and Jenny (Strum) Ceder. She married Henry August Moench on November 4, 1921 and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1971. Mrs. Moench resided in Flint form many years before moving to Arkansas in 1973. She was a cafeteria cook at Beecher High School for over 25 years. Mrs. Moench was a member of Hope Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are: two sons, Donald Henry and wife, Jennie B. Moench of Texarkana, TX, James Michael and wife, Kathy Moench of Millington; daughter, Norma Jean and husband, Gerald Palmer of Bodcaw, AR; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
