Elsie Lindstrom

LINDSTROM, Elsie Rosalba - Age 91, of Flint, died Monday, October  28, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday November 2, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel,  8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.Pastor  Monica Villirreal officiating. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Salem Lutheran Church or Genesee County Humane Society. Elsie was born February 25, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of John Robert and Rosalba (Swanson) Brywig. She married Rune Lindstrom in Flint on June 12, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 2000. Elsie had a great love for fine art. She taught fine arts at the Mott Foundation  and the Valley School for 25 years. Elsie graduated from Flint Technical High School now Southwestern and was a life long member of Salem Lutheran Church. Surviving are: daughter, Lisa (Greg) Rice of Flushing; grandchildren, Anna (Jeremy) Glasstetter of Flint, Lauren (Jarod) Baumgart of Flushing, Krista Dutcher of Ottisville, Kim (Chris) Gora of Freeland; son-in-law Robert Dutcher, step-grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Rice of Ferndale, Trevor Rice also of Ferndale. She was also survived by her great grandchildren, Robert, Mila and her baby sister, Moxley, Abbie and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosalba Brywig, brothers, Herbert and Harold Brywig, daughter, Karen Dutcher. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
