KUCHERA, Elsie G. -- Age 81, of Fenton, died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton, Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton from 2-5 and 7-9 PM Sunday and Monday, with a vigil service at 4 PM Monday. Mrs. Kuchera was born December 10, 1921 in Detroit the daughter of Thomas S. and Elsie (Staffin) Landers. She had resided in Fenton since 1985, coming from Clinton Twp. She married Lawrence B. Kolch and he preceded her in death March 30, 1974. She then married John Kuchera and he preceded her in death December 21, 1985. She worked as a customer service representative for N.B.D. retiring in 1980 with 25 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Surviving are: 2 sons, Lawrence B. Kolch Jr. and wife Ida of Lindsay, OK, Michael T. Kolch and wife Lynn of Fenton; step-daughter, Charlotte and husband Karl Filipowski of Gladwin; step-son, Charles Kuchera of Florida; grandchildren, Allison, David, Cal; step-grandchildren, John, Christine, Gary, Karl; several great-grandchildren.
