Elsie Anderson

ANDERSON, Elsie Henrietta - age 97, of Fenton, died July 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Jeff Jaggers officiating. Visitation will be held  11 AM - 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be held 1 PM Friday at Star Township Cemetery in Alba, MI.  Contributions may be made to the Fenton United Methodist Church or McLaren Hospice. Elsie was born October 4, 1923 in Alba, MI, the daughter of James and Anna (Vallencourt) Coon. She was a 1942 graduate of Alba High School. She moved to Detroit, DesMonies, IA and later Flint. Elsie was a nurse's aide in home health care for many years. Surviving are: four children, Barbara (Michael) Burdgick, Duane Anderson, Jerry Anderson (Vicki Benko), Bill (Judy) Anderson; special granddaughter, Trisha Church and special great-granddaughter, Nikki Church; grandchildren; Billy, Christine, Kathryn, Eric, Shannon, Trisha, Kerri and Ryan; many great-grandchildren; sister, Fern Smith.
