JASTER, Else M. - Age 95, 11 months, 10 days, formerly of Flint Twp, died Sunday, March 18, 2007 in York, Nebraska at the residence of her daughter, Magdalena Heinze. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 22 at German Church of God, 2493 S. Elms Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Waldemar Makus officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM; and Thursday 10 AM until time of service at the church. Satzig, the daughter of Ewald and Hedwig (Kuehl) Altenburg. She married Herman Jaster November 2, 1934 in Germany. She was a wife and homemaker, and for 17 years, during her years in Pennsylvania, Else worked as a baker for Stouffer's Restaurant. She was a member of the German Church of God, of Flint, MI. Surviving are: 4 children, Magdalena and husband Kurt Heinze of Nebraska, Helmut and wife Benita Jaster of Swartz Creek, Siegfried and wife Elsa Jaster of Swartz Creek, Guenther and wife Monika Jaster of Maryland; 10 grandchildren, Edward and wife Denise Jaster, Doris and husband Leo Skinner, Robert and wife Sue Jaster, Ron and wife Doris Jaster, Heidi and husband Dan Steenbergh, Monica and husband Robert Hawcroft, Edwin and wife Diane Heinze, Rachelle and husband Matt Osborne, Scott and wife Amanda Jaster, and Stacy and husband Kenneth Hay; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
