STARKEY, Eloise Ione - age 94, of Fenton, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Crestmont Nursing Care Center. Services will be held 4 PM Monday, May 23, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 12-4 PM Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the VFW Cancer Fund. Eloise was born March 26, 1922 in Barryton, MI, the daughter of Bernard and Melvina (Schooley) Shaw. She was a life member of the Fenton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are: four children, Alice Parker of Fenton, Albert (Charlene) Starkey of Durand, Clara Mae Bruce of Jackson, Ernestine Thompson of Fenton; son-in-law, Waldo Todd of Alger, MI; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Lois Todd; son, Larry Starkey; four grandchildren, Kathy, Ernie, Sherry and Vernon; four brothers and two sisters.
