Ellen Rose Waller

WALLER, Ellen Rose - Age 97, of Flint Township, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be lived streamed and can be viewed via the link on Mrs. Waller obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Dennis Tanner officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Ellen Waller Memorial Fund, c/o Michael Waller. 

Ellen was born April 21, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of John Allen and Rose Lena (Davis) Provance. She married James Donald Waller November 26, 1960 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death December 19, 2004. She had resided in Flint Township most of her life. Ellen retired from AC Spark Plug. She was a member of U.A.W. Local 651 and the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed drawing, reading, crocheting, knitting, gardening and taking care of others. 

Surviving are: her grandchildren, Andrew (Storm), Michael, Seamus, Davi, Mary, Ellie and Linda; several great grandchildren; brother, Gordon Ostrander; daughter-in-law, Tina (Dan) Dady; nieces, Tracy Goss and Cindy Schabel; and several other nieces and nephews.
