Ellen Chiotti

Ellen Jean Chiotti- Age 83, of Swartz Creek, went home to be with Jesus on November 14, 2018. She enjoyed spending time on the computer, shopping, playing slots at the casino, going on cruises in the Caribbean/Bahamas and drinking can Coke. She was notably recognized for her fabulous fashion style in clothing and hair. Making her the coolest mom, nana, ma, grams, grandma pumpkin, grandma gold fingers and mumzie. Ellen was born May 28, 1935 in Detroit, the daughter of Lloyd and Genevieve (Santhony) Mitchell. She married Frank Chiotti on September 1964. She was baptized August 1980 at Seven Lakes in Holly. She retired from Swartz Creek Schools in 2003 after 27 dedicated years of service. Surviving are; son Kenneth Lee (Ruthann) Butler; daughter, Pamela (Butler) Ashenden; son, Rick Butler; son, Donald Butler; daughter Kimberly (Chiotti) Sprague; sister, Shirley Nutt; several nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild; special friend and prayer partner Jeff Ferguson. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Chiotti; daughter, Tonya (Chiotti) Brooks; son Randy Butler; mother, Genevieve (Santhony) Mitchell; father, Lloyd Mitchell; brother, Edward Mitchell; brother, Frank Mitchell; grandson Travis Butler. Per Ellen's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, our temporary location at the Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek.
