Ellen was born in Drummond, WI on September 7, 1921. She later moved to Flint, where she met her soul mate, George Bigelow. George and Ellen welcomed three daughters into their family, which Ellen spent much of her time nurturing. Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family and was not an individual who liked to sit still. She spent many years walking for exercise and was on the go as much as possible. She was truly the matriarch of the family. She has left this life to join her beloved husband, George Bigelow; daughter, Roberta Sting; and son-in-law, Dick Bazzell, who preceded her in death. Ellen will be sadly missed by those surviving her: children, Shirley Bazzell of Flint, Joyce and husband, Tom Adams of Durand, son-in-law, Roger Sting of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Richard Bazzell of Flint, Nancy and husband, Dan Andrews of Williamston, Tonya Vondrasek of Durand, and Derek and wife, Angela Adams of Grand Blanc; sister, Elizabeth Brown of Flint; and six great-grandchildren. Her passing will leave each of us with a heartache that will never heal, but her love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
