Ella Lorraine STOVER

STOVER, Ella L. - age 90 of Fenton, died Monday, January 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Roger Cook officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Milton and Ella Stover Endowment Fund for Star Commonwealth, Albion. Ella was born August 31, 1921 in Highland Park, the daughter of Edward and Clara (Ward) Peterson. She married Milton Stover on June 15, 1946 in Ann Arbor and he preceded her in death November 7, 2007. She was a life member of U of M Alumni Association and a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She was the former President of Franklin Forum, President of Star Commonwealth Auxiliary. She was on the board of Star Commonwealth Schools in Albion for 11 years. Surviving are: 3 children, Janet and husband Larry Pollock of Holly, Milton Stover, Jr. and Brenda Short of Reno, NV and Ward and wife Carol Stover of Columbiaville; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bessie McGregor of Rose City.
