Elizabeth Nancy Whelpley

WHELPLEY, Elizabeth Nancy - Age 97, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Gladwin and Waterford, passed away, October 21, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 11:30 AM Friday, October 27, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Heart to Heart Hospice in Elizabeth's memory.

Elizabeth was born April 27, 1926 in Brown City, MI, the daughter of Stephen and Ima (Collins) Clink. She married George Whelpley in Drayton Plains, October 26, 1985. Elizabeth graduated from Brown City High School in 1944. She was a homemaker. Elizabeth was a former member of the Brown City Missionary Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and mostly spending time with her grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Sherrie Anthony, Chris McCardle, Gary Anthony, and Glenn (Marlene) Anthony; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeff) Neal, Carol (Paul) Scheil, Scott Anthony, and Roger (Erin) Anthony; 7 great grandchildren.
