TRAVILLIAN, Elizabeth Louise (Betty)- Age 88, formerly of Swartz Creek, went to join her Heavenly Father, with loved ones at her side, on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Mrs. Travillian was born February 10, 1929 in Norvell, MI, the daughter of Clayton James and Edna Marian (Bacon) Alger. She was a graduate of Napoleon High School and Hurley School of Radiological Technology. Elizabeth married William J. Travillian on April 24, 1950 in Napoleon, MI, and after 53 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on February 26, 2004. Mrs. Travillian was an x-ray technician for over 40 years working at several Flint area facilities. She was a devoted member of 3rd Avenue Baptist Church and later Hill Rd. Baptist Church. Surviving are: daughter, Linda (Jon) Scott of Clay, NY; two grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Taylor and Steven (Joanna) Tomlinson; six great-grandchildren, Paul, Anastasia, Rya, Cosette, and Gardner Taylor, and Matilda Tomlinson. Betty's family brought her much pride and joy, and she was especially proud to be a grandma and then a great-grandma. She was affectionately known as "Meme", and she made the best lemon meringue pie on earth. She was also preceded in death by her loving parents and her brothers, Vernon (Zola) Alger and Harold Alger.
