STRALEY, Elizabeth M., of Fenton, age 86, died Sunday, Oct 8, 2006 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. Memorial Services will be held 4PM Friday, October 13, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Nancy Stockham officiating. The family will receive friends 1PM until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Straley was born July 20, 1920, in Junction City, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Dunlap) Miller and moved to Michigan in 1946. Mrs. Straley was a graduate of Stephens College, DePauw University, and the University of Michigan majoring in music. Â She taught at the University of Michigan and was the choir director at the First Presbyterian Church in Fenton. Â She was a pianist, organist, private piano teacher, and a school teacher. Â Her interests included camping, bridge, gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Albert and Robert Miller. Â She is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Susan, son Craig, daughter-in-law Nicolette, grandchildren Elizabeth and Eric, sister and husband Virginia Lu and Ernst Baker of Kansas, Charleen Wilkinson of Colorado, sister-in-law Martha Miller of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
