Elizabeth Shoup

SHOUP, Elizabeth Anne - Age 90, of Flint, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Anne was born September 10, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Herbert and Luella (Burdick) Windle. She married Lawrence Shoup on April 5, 1952 in Flint. Mrs. Shoup worked at St. Joseph Hospital and then went on to retire from AC Spark Plug in 1981 after 31 years of service. She was an active member of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church, now Trinity United Presbyterian Church. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; son, Timothy (Betty) Shoup; daughter, Wendy Shoup; grandchildren, Zachary (Jenni) Zintel, Holly Zintel, Allison (Josiah) Hillaker and Lawren Shoup; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Levi, and Julia Hillaker; Brother, Kenneth (Nancy) Windle; special nieces and nephews; and her furbabies. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herbert, Donald, Karl and Gerald; sisters, Madilon and Patricia. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
