Elizabeth Vander Muellen

VANDER MUELLEN, ELIZABETH - age 87, she was a resident of Fenton for the last 6 years; previously in Michigan's UP; Oak Park and born in England. Betty went to be with our Lord on June 20, 2011. Loving wife of Richard C. Vander Muellen joined together on July 16, 1947 at the United Methodist Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. Beloved mother of Bonnie (Paul), David (Diane) Richard R. (Mary) and sister to Frank Johnson (Coni) and Renee (Eric). Betty loved special times with family and friends. Proceeded in death by her husband of 26 years, eldest son David in 2010. Also parents, Lilian and Arthur Johnson and sister who are laid to rest in Oldham, Lancashire, England. Betty is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren, her friends and several nieces and nephews. Celebration service is planned for 11 a.m., Monday, June 27 at Linden Presbyterian Church, Broad Street in Linden. She will be privately laid to rest with her husband at Acacia Park in Beverly Hills, Michigan. Betty's memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends. In lieu of flowers please give memorials to the American Heart Association, Alzheimer's or Linden Presbyterian Church. Her statement to share: "Create a memory today for tomorrow."
