Elizabeth Lafleur

LaFleur, Elizabeth Edna -- Age 88, of Flint, died September 29, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, October 3 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be from 11 AM -12 Noon Tuesday. Elizabeth was born July 18, 1929 in Flint the daughter of Clarence and Alice (Holcomb) Smith. She married Fred LaFleur on August 31, 1944; he preceded her in death January 15, 2016. Liz retired from GM- AC Spark Plug in 1981 with 31 years of service. She built bomb parts and spark plugs. She was a member of UAW Local 651. She was also a member of the VFW in Davison of the Retirement club on Industrial Avenue. Surviving are: three children; Charles (Carmilla) Killinger of Florida, Marc LaFleur of Flint, ChaneTell (William) Kotarski of Flint; grandchildren Charles Killinger IV, Keith (Jill) Killinger, Danny LaFleur, Jamie LaFleur; great-grandchildren, Eddie, Noah, Lila, Jake, Daniel Jr.; brother, Michael (Joan) Miller of Fenton; several nieces and nephews. Liz was preceded in death by her parents; brother Clarence Smith Jr; sister Erma Rummel; husband Fred LaFleur; and daughter Renae LaFleur. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
