HEAGLE, Elizabeth Alice - Age 96, of Gaines, died August 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday August 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday, 10-11 AM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to The Medical Team Hospice Fund, 4400 S. Saginaw Street., # 1300 A, Flint MI 48507. Elizabeth was born April 28, 1918 in Duluth, MN, the daughter of John and Alice (Belden) Hall. She married Herbert Heagle on April 4, 1936 in Angola, IN; he preceded her in death June 30, 1987. She was a homemaker and a farmer. She had resided in Gaines most of her life. She attended the Spiritual Church in Owosso. Surviving are: daughter Janet (Bruce) Pavey of Gaines; son, Richard Heagle of Gaines; grandchildren, Robin Drury, Amy Drury, George (Kathryn) Pavey, Dean (Tonya) Pavey, Jeff Heagle, Jerry (Celia) Heagle, Allan Heagle; great-grandchildren, Desmond Pavey, Jacob and Joshua Gangl, Andrew, Thomas, and Jessica Pavey, Emma Goudreau; sister Ruth Hall; several nieces and nephews.
