BONTEKOE, Elizabeth "Betty" F. - Age 96, of Linden, died March 27, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Sharp Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Betty was born January 13, 1923 in Linden, the daughter of Max L. and Marian (Burnell) Johnston. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Alice) Bontekoe, Faye (Dale) Fredin, Jane (Chet) Rogalski; eight grandchildren, Scott (Liz), Eric (Kim), Katrina, Jacob (Betsy), Dennis (Carol), Lars (Daniella), Margaret (Mike) and Micah; 16 great-grandchildren, Jack, Emily, Faye, Calvin, Zachary, Abigail, Hannah, Sarah, Matthew, Alex, Alyssa, Analiese, Ayla, Harrison, Maxwell and Westley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob; granddaughters, Marian, Sara and Anna Lisa; sister, Maxine Stewart; brothers, Garry and Arnold Johnston.
