Elinor M. LeFEVRE

LeFEVRE, Elinor Marie, age 87, of Gaines, passed away May 4, 2012 at Angela Hospice of Livonia. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Joyce Johnston officiating. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery to follow services. Visitation will be held 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday and 11:00AM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Angela Hospice of Livonia or Messiah Lutheran Church of Swartz Creek. Elinor was born November 16, 1924 in Detroit, daughter of the late Sidney P. and Marie (Christopherson) Sorenson. She was a graduate of Redford High School. She married Albert Raymond LeFevre on April 27, 1946 in Detroit and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1990. She retired from J. L. Hudon Company with 25 years of service. Mrs. LeFevre was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Swartz Creek. She was very active with the VFW Post in Mancelona. Elinor loved to read and the most important thing in her life was her family and her church. Surviving are: daughter, Michele (Matthew) Wroblewski of Westland; son David (Danita) LeFevre of Fowlerville; son-in-law, Myles Green of Fenton; grandchildren, Pamela (Pete) Vigelius of Clarkston, JoAnn (Mike) DePuit of Arizona, Aaron (Melissa) Wroblewski of Macomb Twp., Christopher (Johanna) Green of Swartz Creek, Bethany Green of Fenton, Daniel LeFevre and Jacob LeFevre of Fowlerville; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene (Joe) Standen of Mancelona, Alice (Meyer) Winsjansen of Flat Rock, Connie (Fred) Glaser of Woodhaven; many nieces and nephews.
