BURNHAM, Eleanor May - Age 86, of Fenton formerly of Waterford, died Monday, March 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 30, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Kenneth McMaster officiating. Burial in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-8 PM and Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Mrs. Burnham was born April 26, 1925 in Detroit, the daughter of David and Edith (Johnson) Haight. She married Thomas Joseph Burnham April 28, 1942 and he preceded her in death March 9, 1998. She retired from Mills Products in Walled Lake after 29 years of service. Mrs. Burnham was a life member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Red Hat Society. She also attended Faith Baptist Church in Linden. Surviving are: 4 children, Judith and husband Joseph Pinter of Waterford, David and wife Brenda Burnham of Waterford, Lee J. and wife Denise Burnham of Michigan Center and Mary VanVliet of Fenton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Thomas J. Burnham, daughter-in-law, Isabel Burnham, son-in-law, James A.
