Elaine Passalacqua

PASSALACQUA, Elaine Ann - age 81, of Hartland, MI, passed away on December 25, 2021. She was born June 24, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Norman & Mildred Roy. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. Together they owned & operated Frank's Country Oven Restaurant & Pizzeria in Hartland, MI, where her wonderful cooking and baking skills were put to good use. She was a kind, hardworking, patient lady who loved her family, enjoyed gardening, crafts and watching her family grow. She was a talented cake decorator with many repeat customers over the years.  She leaves behind her five children, Diane (Craig) Gorski, Karen (Bruce) Monnier, Paul Passalacqua, Dave Passalacqua, and Nancy (Rob) Holden. Along with ten grandchildren, Steve (Dorian) Gorski, Chris (Sarah) Gorski, Ryan Gorski, Kevin (Breanne) Passalacqua, Eric Passalacqua, Curtis (Victoria) Holden, Katie Holden, Bruce (Cassandra) Monnier, Jill (Jeremy) Kuykendall, Jessie (Tim) Eastman; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Ralph (Nancy) Roy and sister, Lois Lamparski, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 PM Friday, December 31, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2099 N Hacker Rd, Howell, MI 48855 with Fr. Francis George celebrant. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W.
