MISENER, Elaine (Upcraft) -- Age 85, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away in her home on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Funeral Services will be 12 Noon Saturday, September 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 11 AM - 9 PM Friday, and 11 AM until the time of the funeral on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers Association can be made on Sharp Funeral Home website. Elaine will be missed by her family and friends. She was a long time member of Halsey Methodist Church in Grand Blanc before moving to Florida. She is survived by her husband Ralph; her children Ken, David, Dale, Jane, Carrie; her 12 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 5 siblings, Ellen Morris, Ruth Steiner, Maxine Miller, Sharon Evans, and Gerald Carnes. Elaine's granddaughter will be running in the Chicago marathon to raise money and awareness for the fight against Alzheimer's.
