Elaine Hanson

HANSON, Elaine Marie – age 78, of Davison, formerly of Swartz Creek, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, November 7, 2021. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint. Visitation 2:00-8:00 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, and 10:00 AM until the time of Service, Tuesday, at the Church. Pastor Stephen T. Anthony officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Elaine’s memory would be appreciated to The Central Church of the Nazarene, Flint.

Elaine was born December 4, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Reginald and Jean (Nichols) Pinney. She married Richard Dallas Hanson in Swartz Creek on June 3, 1961. Elaine was employed at General Motors Service Parts Organization for many years. She attended the Central Church of the Nazarene. Elaine was a talented artist, and enjoyed scrap-booking, sewing, painting, wood burning, and solving jigsaw puzzles with her family.

Elaine is survived by: her husband, Richard Hanson; children, Michael (Chavanne) Hanson of Sunnyvale, California, and Michelle (Donald) Holder of Naples, Florida; grandchildren, Cameron (Madalyn) Holder, Mikayla Holder, Max Hanson, and Margaux Hanson; sister, Diane (Richard) Talcott.
