JACKMAN, Elaine Elizabeth - Age 74, of Flushing, died Saturday, July 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2109 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Gideons International. Elaine was born September 22, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Almon E. and Helen M. (Garnett) Corbett. She was a 1962 graduate of Beecher High School. She married Kenneth L. Jackman November 20, 1981 in Flint. She had resided in the Flushing area most of her life. Elaine was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her family. Surviving are: her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Stephanie (John) Fitzko of Lennon; son, Joel (Suzanne) Eldred of Glenrock, WY; grandchildren, Ashley Eldred, Ryan Fitzko ( fiance, Casey Robertson), and Brook Eldred; brothers, Ronald (Kathie) Corbett of Flushing and Fred (Cathi) Corbett of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
