Elaine Gillmore-Brown

Elaine Lynn Gillmore-Brown - age 69, of Clio passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Dean Stewart officiating. Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the American Heart Association. Elaine was born June 29, 1949 in Flint, the daughter of John and Margaret (Kennedy) Gillmore. She graduated from Hamady High School in 1967. Elaine worked for many years as a crew member at the McDonald's Restaurant in Fenton. She was a member of Mayfair Bible Church of Flushing. Elaine enjoyed crafting, trips to Flint Farmers Market, and reading. She also was an avid sports fan, especially of the Tigers, Redwings, and MSU. Surviving are: children, Melissa (Tim) Wandrey, Monica (Todd) Wood, Erin ( Jason) Cockerill, and Andrew Brown; grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt, Maddy, Lily, Reagan, and Rose; her sweetheart, Lee Shears; brothers, David and Jerry Gillmore; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Ash.
