Elaine M. BROWN

BROWN, Elaine Margaret "Aunt Tootie," age 94, of Linden, died March 21, 2012. Born September 1, 1917 in Flint, the daughter of Martin P. and Margaret (Stephenson) Brunette. Elaine married William R. Brown on June 23, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1993. She was employed by AC Spark Plug in the Personnel department for 20 years, served as President of Big Sisters of Flint/Genesee County from 1964-1966 and had been a member of Iota Zeta Chapter of Pi Omicron Sorority since 1959, President in 1963. Elaine was a lifetime founding member of Spring Meadows Country Club. Aunt Tootie was much loved and will be dearly missed by survivors: brother, Robert and wife Norma Brunette; sister, Betty and husband Ted Bennett; nine special nieces and nephews, including Melissa Swartz, husband Michael and their children, Mackenzie and Mitchell, several great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Grant and brother Donald Brunette. Cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
