Eileen Faith

FAITH, Eileen Elizabeth - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, August 13, 2018. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Private burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek, Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek, ( Mundy Township). Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Eileen was born October 13, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of Wilbert and Christina (Brown) Reid. She married Frank M. Faith October 6, 1951 in Flint. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1977 coming from Sterling Heights. Eileen was a church organist and taught piano lessons for over 60 years. She was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Women, Choir, and Pasties Sales. She and her husband, Frank, enjoyed traveling all over the world. Surviving are: her husband of 66 years, Frank; her children, Bonnie and husband Bill Brady of Banner, WY, Chris Faith of Arlington, WA, Frank, Jr. and wife Lisa Faith of East Waterboro, ME, Dave Faith of Parker, CO, and Eric and wife Ethel Faith of Minneapolis, MN; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wilbert, William, Robert, and Earl Reid; and sister, Clara Pekarek. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
