Eileen Mae Faber

FABER, Eileen Mae, age 80, of Lennon, formerly of Flint, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00PM Monday, June 16, 2008 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth St., Flint. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 12-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A vigil service will be 6PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association. Eileen was born December 5, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of Dewey and Katherine (Corcoran) Torpey. She married Alexander Faber on July 6, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1993. Eileen was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as a classy lady who loved her family. Surviving are her 3 children, Raymond 'Joe' Faber of Swartz Creek, Eddie Faber and Susan Faber, both of Lennon; 3 grandchildren, Justin and Jason Faber of Swartz Creek, Jamie Fulbright (Jason) of Burton; 1 great-granddaughter, Brooke Fulbright; 3 sisters, Katherine 'Jean' Barrett of Flint, Geraldine 'Jo' Bryant and Patricia Kelley (William) both of Swartz Creek; 2 sister-in-laws, Hazel Torpey of Gladwin, Esther Torpey of Flushing and many nieces and nephews.
