Eileen Binder

BINDER, Eileen Ann "I" - Age 71, of Linden, went home, Thursday May 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Fr. Dwight Ezop officiating. Eileen will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family. Eileen was born August 25, 1943 in Detroit, the daughter of Edward Gerard and Mary Louise (Malone) O'Neil. She received Bachelor's Degrees in Fine Art and Art History from Oakland University and Wayne State University. She married Joseph Binder May 28, 1965 in Detroit. She was a Hospice volunteer and a Medical Technician. Eileen was also a Talented Artist. Surviving are: her husband, Joseph; 3 children, Joseph (Beth) Binder, Mary Kathleen (Lon J.) Pratt, and Ellen Marie Binder Thomas all of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Faith Ann, Myranda Eileen, James Michael, Joseph Thomas, and Lon Christopher; great granddaughter, Saige Annabelle; Eileen was the oldest of eight children.
