WILLIAMS, Edwin Ketcher "Ed" - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton.  Fr. David Harvey celebrant.  Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.  Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Ed was born May 17, 1945 in Alma, the son of Howard Ross and Catherine Helen (Ketcher) Williams.  He was a graduate of Greenville High School and received an Associates Degree from Ferris State University.  He married Sandra L. Johnson August 28, 1965 in Greenville.  Ed retired from Total Petroleum as Division Manager after 35 years of service; and was currently employed by Fick and Sons in Grayling.  He has resided in Fenton since 2014 coming from Alma.  He was member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Catholic Church in Fenton.  He also a was a member of the Fenton Knights of Columbus, Big Brothers, Chamber of Commerce in Alma, Toast Masters, and he coached basketball for girls and boys.

Surviving are: his wife of 57 years, Sandra; children, Stacey (Frank) Schults of Walled Lake, Wendy (Jamie) Hoeberling of DeWitt, Nicholas Williams of Fenton; son-in-law, Marc Czajka of Allen Park; 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Lee Williams of Schaumburg, IL and Rick (Jan) Williams of Big Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Denise Czajka.  Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
