Edward Sullivan

Sullivan, Edward Joseph - Age 79, of Mt. Morris, died February 18, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Public visitation will be held 1-7 PM Tuesday, and 11 AM - 12:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Due to Covid restrictions, Private family funeral services will be held. Interment to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.   Edward was born June 17, 1941 in Staten Island, NY, the son of Edward Sullivan Sr. and Irene (McKeon) Sullivan. Edward proudly served his country in The United States Army. He retired from General Motors Pontiac Truck and Bus as Director of Material Handling. He had over 40 years of service with GM. After retirement he did contract work with GM and also worked for Workhorse Custom Chassis.  Ed served as a volunteer fireman when in New Jersey. He had served on the Mt. Morris City Council. Ed was the Master Coordinator of multiple golf events with special friends. He was dedicated to his special companions, JJ, Callie, Dollie, Lady and Mocha. His family, Terri; children, Linda (Gary) Hibdon, JoAnn (Mark) Churay, Eddie (Tracy Hobbs) Sullivan; his precious grandchildren, Heather and Ryan Hibdon, Jennifer and Christina Churay; sisters, Kathy (Jay) Chapman, Judy Hibbs;  nieces and nephews, Kim and Chris, NaNette, Madison, Jacob, Beau, Connor, and Jonathan; cousin Bonnie Sullivan; the whole McKeon clan; Bill Yates; Dori and Randy Martinuzzi; and many special friends and neighbors.  Ed was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Chester Hibbs and Frank Venuto.
