SAMPSON, Edward Jr., 'Sam' age 62, of Flint, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Brian's House, Davison. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Brian's House or American Cancer Society. Sam was born July 28, 1946 in Flint the son of Edward and Betty (Headrick) Sampson. He was previously employed by D & M Trucking. Surviving are his mother, Betty Sampson of Flint; 5 sisters, Merlyn Burton, Cara Sampson both of Flint, Letricia Sampson of Lennon, Betty Nicevski (Risto) of Owosso, Helen Lescelius (John) of Fenton; 4 brothers, Don Sampson (Aaltje) of Washington, George Sampson (Judy) of Goodrich, Tracy Sampson of Lennon, Timothy Sampson of Dundee and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edward; niece, Carrie Lucas; brother-in-laws, Orville Burton and Wayne Sheppard.
