RAY, Edward Wayne - age 77, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Funeral services will be 5 PM Saturday, January 6 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be 11 AM - 5 PM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Edward was born January 27, 1940 in Royal Oak, the son of Harry Charles and Ida Eileen (Hoytya) Ray. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Edward was a Test Driver at GM Milford Proving Grounds for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He married Constance Bullock - Goldsworthy on June 26, 1999 in White Lake, MI. Edward had been a resident of Fenton since 2008, coming from White Lake. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1230, Pontiac and the Moose Lodge #2370, Highland. Edward was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, and especially his treats. Surviving are: his beloved wife, Connie; daughter, Michelle Wood of Gulf Port, MS; step-daughters, Lisa Butler of California and Kathryn (Andrew) Alvarado of Fenton; 9 grandchildren, Jacob, Derek, Dakota, Seth, Andy, Jr., Joshua, Caleb, Alayna, and Alexis; 4 great-grandchildren, Ariel, Jack, Emilia, and Abel; and sister, Janis (David) Kawecki of Pueblo, CO.
