POLZIN, Edward James - age 91, of Burton, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Genesys Hospice. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, December 15, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Fr. Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Polzin was born August 6, 1917 in Birch Run, the son of George and Helena (Muelfeldt) Polzin. He married Jessie Zaskeet and she preceded him in death. Mr. Polzin retired from General Motors and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Surviving are: two sons, Robert (Diane) Polzin of Flint, Kenneth Polzin of Burton; two grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Christopher.
