Edward Neuville

NEUVILLE, Edward August - Age 82, of Linden, died September 12, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, October 9 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association or American Heart Association. Edward was born June 10, 1934 in Flint, the son of Albert M. "Curly" and Greta Fay (Hager) Neuville. He was married to Beverly K. Sasek on July 11, 1959. Edward served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and retired from General Motors in 2005 after 51 years of service. He had served as a volunteer firefighter in Linden, was a lifelong member of Linden Presbyterian Church, was a Life Scout, Assistant Scoutmaster, Order of Arrow and a member of the Native American Dance Troop. He also served on the board of directors of Flint Service Federal Credit Union. Mr. Neuville was a lifelong learner, an avid gardener and fisherman. One of his favorite places was Isle Royale. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Cheryl; (Cleadous) Lanter, Daniel (Kimberly) Neuville, Timothy (Melisha) Neuville, Joseph Neuville, Christopher (Christine) Neuville, Shelly (Troy) Richert; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Pat) Neuville; many nieces and nephews.
