Edward (Ed) C. Kiley III, age 73, passed away peacefully in his home in Fenton, MI on January 10, 2022.
He was born Nov 27, 1948 to Ed & Gloria (La Frenier) Kiley in Lansing, MI. He spent over 30 years with the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant and continuing to work with enlisted airmen on furthering their education. Ed was a long time resident of Florence, CO where he enjoyed spending time with his kids and wife Kathy. He recently relocated, with his 3 Scottish Terriers and cat, to Fenton, MI to enjoy time at his family's lake cottage.
Education was paramount to Ed - he held a BSc degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters of Arts degree in Computer Data Management. It was his dream in life to see both of his children graduate from college. In early December 2021, this dream came true and the family gathered for his son Devin's graduation from UNC in Greeley. The family is forever grateful for the memories made during this trip and will remember him as a proud father, silly Papa and kind man.
Ed is preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathy, parents Ed & Gloria Kiley and brother Patrick. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Kristyn (Justin) Suto and son Devin Kiley, grandchildren Sloan & Cooper Suto, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial will take place at a later date in Colorado where he will rest at peace with Kathy. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Orchard of Hope Foundation in Cañon City, CO http://www.orchardofhope.org/ or a charity of your choice.
