Edward Ingison

INGISON, Edward George - 72, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene, 7154 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Josh McLaren officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday May 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Edward was born May 28, 1948 in Marquette, the son of Charles and Dorothy Ingison. He was a 1966 graduate of Marquette High School; he attended Northern Michigan University and he received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Detroit College of Business. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army. Edward married Connie Marie Jandreau June 22, 1968 in Ishpeming. He resided in Swartz Creek since 1984 coming from Flint. He retired from GM Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant in 1999 after 32 years of service. He enjoyed deer hunting, bowling, and playing bingo. Surviving are: his wife, Connie; 3 children, Joe (Melanie) Ingison of Swartz Creek, Angel (Timothy) Materia of Flint, and Scott Ingison of Swartz Creek; 3 grandchildren, Grace, Matthew, and Serrae; sister, Donna (Rick) Lancour of Trenary; half sister, Shirley (Kurt) Brady of Ishpeming; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Neaveh Marie; brother, Charles Ingison; sisters, Gloria McNally and Margaret O'Donnell; and brother-in-law, George McNally.
