HUGHES, Edward Wayne - Age 60, of Fenton, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at his residence. A private memorial will be held. Ed was born November 18, 1950 in Flint, the son of Gerald Wayne and Edwina (Marchbanks) Hughes. He was married to Patricia A. Cram on January 2, 1971 in Owosso. Mr. Hughes retired from Target Corporation in 2005. Ed loved his family very much and tried his best to be there for them and his precious grandchildren. He was so proud of his daughters. He was a good husband and father; he will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed life as much as he could. He loved playing golf with his friends and spending winters in Arizona. Ed died peacefully in his sleep with his best friend, Buster by his side. He battled kidney disease and other health issues for most of his life. He was a very strong and selfless man. Surviving are: wife, Patricia; daughters, Kristina (Shannon) Premo, Jennifer (Ryan) McArthur; grandchildren, Andrew, Kaitlyn and Mallory; sisters, Sally (Richard) Day, Marsha Binelli; brother, Jeffery (Monica) Hughes; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
