DRZEWIECKI, Edward Patrick - Age 81, of Fenton, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass wil be celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held 2-9 Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass Tuesday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society. Edward was born March 17, 1929 in Chicago, IL the son of Edward Robert and Cecelia (Flieger) Drzewiecki. He was married to Eleanor Carol Sajdak on May 20, 1950 in Chicago; she preceded him in death in July 13, 2006. Mr. Drzewiecki worked for Verson Press Company for 38 years. For the past eight years he owned and operated Drzewiecki Machine Repair. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for 33 years. Surviving are: three children, Edward Drzewiecki and wife Linnette of Hamburg, Sue Holba and husband Michael of Mokena, IL, Michael Drzewiecki and wife Lori of Grand Blanc; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers, Eugene Drzewieck of Utica, IL and Robert Drzewiecki of Bourbonas, IL; his close friend and neighbor, Steven Maul.
