COLLINS, Edward G. - Age 81, of  Fenton, returned to be with the Lord, June 29, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Committal rites will take place immediately after Mass, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at St John the Evangelist fellowship hall following services. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2-8 PM, where a time of sharing service will be held at 7 PM. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan or The Medical Team Hospice. Edward was born March 28, 1938 in Detroit, the son of James and Eleanor. As a veteran of the United States Army, he bravely protected our country. Ed proudly worked for the US Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Donna; Children, Colleen Collins, David Collins, Christopher (Marlou) Collins, Timothy (Stacy) Collins, Steven (Melissa) Draper, Stephanie ( John) Oswald, Scott (Laura) Draper, Michael (Becky) Draper, Thomas (Valerie) Draper; Grandchildren, Kendra, Olivia, Devin, Lindsey, Jack, Alexander, Sullivan, Andrew, Zachary, Amanda, Ashley, Natalie, Kyle, Emma, Jacob, Caitlin, William, Joshua, Anna, Mackenzie; Great-grandchildren, Kasey and Cody; Brothers, Daniel and Thomas Collins.
