Edward Warren AUSTIN

AUSTIN, Edward Warren "Sarge" - Age 73, of Linden, died July 6, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, July 9, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Sunday and 11-2PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Edward was born April 10, 1939 in Holly, the son of Warren Henry and Beotta (Alexander) Austin. He was married to Janet Elaine Sipes on June 6, 1959 in Fenton. Mr. Austin was a police officer in Linden and Argentine for many years. He also was a crossing guard for Linden Schools. Surviving are: children, Craig (Denise) Austin, Rick Austin, Dana (Craig) Marsden, Rod Austin, Kimberly (Norman) Johnson, Kelly (Matt) Edinger; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Doug Austin, Jerry (Carol) Austin, Steve Austin, Caroline (Virgil) Estep, Donna (Dave) Bunning, Vera (Darryl) Matney.
